The Trailblaze Challenge features 12+ weeks of training on San Diego County's most beautiful trails. You will receive full support from an experienced hike support team and Make-A-Wish staff as you prepare to accomplish a 28-mile hike in one day on the Pacific Crest Trail in Big Bear. The hike caters to all levels from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts.
This scenic trek provides participants an opportunity for adventure, fun, and fitness while making a direct impact on the lives of children battling critical illnesses. You will be given all the tools needed to help you raise much-needed funds for wish kids in San Diego and Imperial Counties. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together, and unites communities.
When you take your first step on your journey as a Trailblazer, you are paving the way for a brighter tomorrow for over 300 children in the process of receiving a wish.

How Do I Get Started?
To begin this life-changing journey, you'll need to attend an information meeting. These meetings are designed to inform you about the mission of Make-A-Wish and describe in detail the weekend-long hike event.
