Hello All, 

I am so excited to take on the Make-A-Wish Trailblaze Challenge! In addition to the physical challenge, a marathon hike of 26.3 miles at Silver Falls State Park on Jully 12th, 2024, I have committed myself to raising $2,500 for Make-A-Wish. These funds are necessary for Make-A-Wish to grant the "one true wish" for each eligible child with a critical illness.

Make-A-Wish grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year! That’s a lot, Yes. But that’s only 50% of the eligible kids!  As many of you know, my daughter Fern has a rare genetic disease, called TBCK Syndrome, affecting less than 150 kids in the world. Many kids in our TBCK community have been on the receiving end of this wonderful non-profit and many are in the application process to become "wish kids." Having witnessed so many in our small community be blessed by Make-A-Wish, I wanted to give back by completing this challenge in honor of my rare disease warrior, Fern, and all of our TBCK community.

I am fundraising so that more deserving kids and their families can know the true happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.  Please consider joining me in playing a role in granting these essential wishes! Together, we are transforming lives- One wish at a time!
