I am a dad of a wish kid, Abigail, who is a brain cancer survivor. I can relate with families going through the most difficult times of life, navigating life threatening illness. No kid should ever have to face these adversities but we have no other choice but to keep moving forward one day at a time. Thanks to Make A Wish they provide joyful memories for these families to look forward to. My sphere of influence is small but through Make A Wish I get to have a big impact. I’ve seen how events like the Trailblaze Challenge and others have brought the community together in a beautifully supportive way, providing strength to these families when they need it most. I’m here to hike for all the warrior hero’s enduring crisis who inspire me and have given me a greater depth of love and compassion. I’m honored to help grant more wishes for our community and I hope these stories inspire everyone in our community to make more time to support these families in the ways that they can.
Every hour of every day, on average, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the true happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
These essential wishes are only possible because of supporters like you. Together, we are transforming lives- One wish at a time!
If you can, please help me support Make-A-Wish by donating today.
