26.6 miles along the Catoctin Trail – it’s just a walk in the park! The hard part is raising $2750.00 by September 28.
That’s what I committed myself to raising for Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic, and I need family, friends, Facebook friends, and people who just believe in the cause to donate in support of my effort.
I chose Make-A-Wish because it allows me to return the favor for granting a wish to someone I know – and will help make another critically ill child’s wish come true.
I chose the Trailblaze Challenge because it allows me to compete in a physical challenge that is tougher than anything I have ever done, and to do it with a meaningful purpose.
Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year, but only 50% of eligible kids get to have this extraordinary experience. I am fundraising so more critically ill kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
Please support this great cause by helping me hit my fundraising goal. Every small amount is a huge contribution toward this purpose and a boost to my own confidence, too.
