I am excited to take on this year’s Trailblaze Challenge for the state of Michigan - 22 MILES in ONE day. This will not be easy but it’s for the these amazing kids who truly deserve the their wishes to be granted.

And I came back to support this chapter because a friend who took this journey with me in 2023 returned this year. This was not planned but I decided to commit once again placing one foot in front of the other to hike and fundraise for these wish kids waiting for their wish to be granted. One wish in Michigan, on average, costs $10,000 to be fulfilled.

Did you know that Make-A-Wish grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year? That’s a lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of the eligible kids.  Every hour of every day, on average, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal.  I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the true happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
