Trailblaze Challenge 2023
After our first time participating in the Trailblaze Challenge last year, we enjoyed the experience so much that we signed up again! This year, Hillary and I are hosting a joint page since we have a lot of donors in common. Our total fundraising goal is $5000. Any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated. This cause is incredibly impactful to us personally since our nephew is a childhood cancer survivor and Make-A-Wish recipient. Make-A-Wish helped him find joy after two years of difficult cancer treatments. We want other kids to experience this gift; please help us reach our goal and help kids with critical illnesses.
In our first year in the Trailblaze Challenge, we led the Rabun Ramblers team based out of Rabun County. We had a total of eight members from our community come together to raise an impressive $21,521. We had the honor of being recognized by Make-A-Wish as the highest non-corporate fundraising team for the 2023 Trailblaze Challenge. Please help us continue this energy going into the 2024 Challenge. Did you know that Make-A-Wish has granted more than 550,000 wishes around the world? That’s a lot, yes. But right now, for every wish that comes true, two more children with critical illnesses are waiting for theirs to be granted because Make-A-Wish lacks the necessary funding. I’m fundraising for Make-A-Wish so that more deserving kids and their families can know the life-changing joy, renewal, strength and hope that a wish can bring.
