Yesterday (on November 1st), I completed the Make-A-Wish Trailblaze Challenge-- hiking 22 miles in 1 day on the Bartram Trail in Clayton, Georgia. I've been passionate about hiking for a very long time, but this year that passion was being driven by a cause far greater than my own. Not only did I commit to the physical challenge of hiking 22 miles in 1 day, I committed to raising the critical funds necessary for Make-A-Wish to grant the one true wish for each eligible child with critical illness. Though the 22-miles are behind me, the fundraising is not!
This morning (on November 2nd) after we gathered for our departing breakfast, Trailblazers shared their whys. Why do they participate in the Trailblaze Challenge? Listening to everyone's stories made me realize the impact that this event truly has on people. Listening to everyone's stories revitalized my desire to complete my fundraising goal. Life-changing wishes are only possible because of supporters like you. A wish can truly transform a child's life, and you have the power to grant it. Please help support me on this journey by donating now. Thank you!
