I’m thrilled (and a little nervous) to share that I’ve signed up for this year’s Trailblaze Challenge! After participating in 2022 and swearing I’d never do it again, here I am—ready to begin again. This time, I’m doing it alongside one of my best friends, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this journey with him.
Over the past year, I’ve been traveling solo and embracing new adventures on my own. But this challenge feels special because it’s not just about the hike—it’s about sharing the experience with someone who means so much to me. It’s a reminder of how important community and support are, especially when tackling something this big. Life was a willow, and it bent right to your wind when we lean on others and face challenges together.
Since my first hike, I’ve lost 130 pounds, and this journey feels like everything has changed, marking a huge personal milestone. It’s about proving to myself that I can shake it off, take on this physical test, and keep pushing forward. At the same time, I’m driven by the chance to make a difference for children with critical illnesses—because you belong with me in this fight to grant life-changing wishes.
Did you know that Make-A-Wish has granted more than 550,000 wishes around the world? That’s incredible—but right now, for every wish that comes true, two more children are waiting. It’s a reminder that we’re happy, free, confused, and lonely in the best way, and we have the chance to make a real impact.
A wish is more than just a moment—it’s like finding your starlight during the darkest times. It brings joy, strength, hope, and renewal to kids and their families when they need it most. Your support can help change the story of us for these children and give them the transformation they deserve.
So, here’s me asking you to stay—join me on this journey by donating today. Every dollar is a step toward granting wishes and creating moments that will never go out of style. Together, we can make the whole place shimmer for kids who need it most.
Let’s make magic happen—are you ready for it?
