In January 2024, I began volunteering with Make-A-Wish, and it's been an incredibly rewarding experience. Working alongside remarkable children and families, I’ve had the privilege of helping them uncover and celebrate their wishes.
Now, I'm embarking on the Trailblaze Challenge—a rigorous 26.2-mile hike in one day—to raise funds so Make-A-Wish can continue on their mission to grant life-changing wishes.
I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact of Make-A-Wish. My cousin Ryan, amidst his battle with cancer, got his wish trip to Atlantis, allowing Ryan to feel like a kid again during an incredibly challenging time.
Similarly, my nephew Colton (when 5 years old) rang the bell at Boston Children’s and a few months later his wish of being a pirate came true! Make-A-Wish sent Colton and his family on a memorable pirate adventure in Florida, providing much-needed respite after a grueling treatment protocol hundreds of miles from his family. Colton is now almost 10 (an AMAZING kid & my profile pic) and an ardent supporter of organizations that supported him, Make A Wish being one of them!
The Trailblaze Challenge represents my chance to give back to Make-A-Wish while also ensuring that more children can experience the transformative power of a wish fulfilled.
I’ve committed to raising $2,500 but my goal is to raise enough to grant one wish, which averages $13,000. No donation is too small, every dollar makes a difference! Thank you for your support.
