2024 Trailblaze Challenge - Connecticut: Jenna Baker

I am honored to be participating in the 2024 Trailblaze Challenge trail marathon to benefit Make-a-Wish of Connecticut. I am running in honor of my son, Henry, a two-time cancer fighter and Wish recipient.

Our family can attest to the power of a Wish, and I am fundraising for Make-A-Wish so that more deserving kids and their families can know the life-changing joy, renewal, strength, and hope that a Wish can bring.

The physical feat of the Trailblaze Challenge is nothing in comparison to the challenges that Henry and other children with life-threatening illnesses face. In addition to completing the marathon, I have commited to raising the critical funds necessary for Make-A-Wish to grant each eligible child their true Wish. Right now, for every Wish that comes true, two more children with critical illnesses are waiting for theirs to be granted.
