Why Team Trail Magic?  As avid hikers, we both love to find trail magic when hiking.  We kinda thought the term had dual meaning now because by us being on the trail and raising funds for Make-a-Wish, we are creating magic for wish kids.  That’s how/why we chose our team name.  We are thrilled to take on this year’s Trailblaze Challenge! We both love to hike, and what better way to do what we love than do it for a great cause! In addition to the physical challenge of hiking 28.3 miles in one day, we have committed ourselves to raising the essential funds necessary for Make-A-Wish to help grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. With your help, proving hope and joy during these uncertain times is possible.    

Wish kids are some of the most resilient and sweetest kids you'll ever know. The one true vision of a wish may vary from trip to a pickle factory, become a superhero, give their baseball team new uniforms, and push all of the buttons in a tall building's elevator.  Their innocence and unexpected wisdom stays with you.

Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. A lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of eligible kids, and now more than ever every child needs something positive to look forward to. We’re fundraising so more deserving kids and their families may know the true happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
