The Caudels

The best views come after the hardest climb.

We have hiked through California, Arkansas, Arizona, Tennessee, North Dakota and Canada.  But no hike will be as important as this year's Trailblaze Challenge. It's a 28.3 mile ONE day hike through the Appalachian Mountains on the border of North and South Carolina. In addition to the physical & mental challenge, we have committed ourselves to raising funds for Make-A-Wish - a foundation dedicated to granting the wishes of children with critical illnesses. 


Wish kids are some of the most resilient and sweetest kids you'll ever know. Their wishes may be as simple as trip to a pickle factory, or as whimsical as being a superhero for the day, or as generous as giving their baseball team new uniforms.

Make-A-Wish grants 15,000 unique wishes each year. Unfortunately, that’s only 50% of eligible kids. We’re fundraising so more children and their families experience the feeling of all the joy, excitement, and love contained in the fulfillment of their one wish.
