Pat's Trail Pounders

The best views come after the hardest climb.

Ryan and I are excited to be lacing up our boots to take on the Trailblaze Challenge again after Ryan, at age 12, became one of the youngest ever to complete the 28.3 mile, 1 day hiking challenge. Our why is simple.... to give back to Make A Wish in memory of my brother (and his uncle) Patrick, who was a wish recipient, and all the other wish kids and wish families connected to our lives.

In addition to the physical challenge, we have committed ourselves to raising the essential funds necessary for Make-A-Wish to help grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. Our goal this year is to fund one child's wish ($7500).

Wish kids are some of the most resilient and sweetest kids you'll ever know. The one true vision of a wish may vary from trip to a pickle factory, become a superhero, give their baseball team new uniforms, and push all of the buttons in a tall building's elevator.  Their innocence and unexpected wisdom stays with you.

Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. A lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of eligible kids, and now more than ever every child needs something positive to look forward to. We’re fundraising so more deserving kids and their families may know the true happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.

Please help us support this impactful mission by joining us on the trail or helping us hit our Trailblaze Challenge fundraising goal.  Thank you for your support!
