I have been familiar with this challenge since 2017 when my dad first did the hike as a participant. Ever since, I have wanted to do the hike myself. Now that I finally have the chance, I could not be more excited! 28.3 miles is a lot, but I’m looking forward to taking on all of the challenges it will bring. I have gotten the chance to talk to a few wish kids and families, and their stories are truly inspiring. They all talk about how much the magic of a granted wish has meant to them. Knowing that my doing this is benefitting families like them is going to make every step worthwhile.
God has blessed me in so many ways, and I want to be a blessing to kids and families like those, even if our paths never cross. Please consider donating to my efforts in fundraising for this hike so that more special, beautiful children of God can experience the joy of a wish come true. Thank you!
