Trail Snacks
We are thrilled to take on this year’s Trailblaze Challenge. In addition to the physical challenge, we have committed ourselves to raising the essential funds necessary for Make-A-Wish to help grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. With your help, proving hope and joy during these uncertain times is possible.
Team Trail Snacks (that’s us) is determined to crush the Trailblaze Challenge with Make-A-Wish of Alabama! We’ve committed to raising $2,500 each ($5,000 as a team!) and training 12 weeks for a one day 26.3 mile hike on the Pinhoti Trail.
We are both dedicated Neonatal Nurses in Birmingham, AL. Having such a rewarding job is amazing and we are thankful to a part of all our babies lives.
We each have our reasons for wanting to join the Trail Blazer challenge but the desire for adventure, a true challenge, making connections in our community, and the chance to make a difference is driving both us through.
Wish kids are some of the most resilient and sweetest kids you'll ever know. The one true vision of a wish may vary from trip to a pickle factory, become a superhero, give their baseball team new uniforms, and push all of the buttons in a tall building's elevator. Their innocence and unexpected wisdom stays with you.
Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. A lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of eligible kids, and now more than ever every child needs something positive to look forward to. We’re fundraising so more deserving kids and their families may know the true happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
Please help us support this impactful mission by joining us on the trail or helping us hit our Trailblaze Challenge fundraising goal. Thank you for your support!
We will be sharing this journey on tiktok @trailsnackss so follow along!
