The Challenge is ON!
This year your Dynamic Duo have taken on the ulitmate challenge and have pledged to be Wish Heros. We have each committed to hike 54.6 miles and raise $5000.00 for kids with critical illness, here in Alabama.
It is both a physical challange and rewarding quest to help these deserving children. We are also super pumped that Matt Yarbrough (Micah's Brother), will be, for his first time, joining us on this incredible journey and look forward to many trail hours together. Together combined the the three of us will hike over 200 miles for this wonderful cause.
Wish kids are some of the bravest and sweetest kids you'll ever know. They wish to become a superhero, work in a pickle factroy, go snorkeling, push all of the buttons in a tall building's elevator. Thier innocence and unexpected wisdom stays with you forever. If you want to hear more about why Make-A-Wish is so important to us, We will be happy to share, just ask.
Did you know that Make-A-Wish grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year? That’s a lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of the eligible kids. Every hour of every day, on average, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the true happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
