Nick Tony got his very own WISH Day a few years ago. He wished for a Pokemon shopping spree. It was the best day ever! The look on my son's face and the visible joy in his heart when he was surprised by a limo to take him shopping for the day will forever be etched in my heart. The Make-A-Wish foundation was able to give my son an experience that made him forget about all the hard stuff he has to deal with every day and just enjoy being special.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation didn't stop being a part of our lives after his wish was granted, they continued to ask our family, mostly Nick Tony, to be a part of more events to help them raise money, so other children like him with critical illnesses could get their chance at a Wish too. Nick Tony has been and still is so eager to help. He has found his passion in volunteering his time to help other children. So this year after speaking at one of the Trailblazer info sessions he asked me if he could do the hike and I couldn't say no. So here we are, the two Bellofatto boys, on a journey to raise money and go hiking together.
