Embarking on this journey for the first time fills me with both excitement and determination. This year marks my first attempt at conquering the Trailblaze Challenge, a 26.3-mile hike in one life-changing day to benefit the incredible work of Make-A-Wish.
Last year, I tore my hamstring, and now that it’s healed, I wanted a goal to look forward to and help motivate me to hit the trails in 2024. Yes, 26.3 miles is a hefty distance to cover in a single day, and I anticipate it's going to be a real challenge, but it's a challenge that pales in comparison to the daily battles fought by wish kids and their families. My goal this year is to fundraise $2,500 to help make more wishes come true for deserving kids right here in Alabama. And I need YOUR help to make it happen!
Did you know that every hour, on average, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness? Make-A-Wish is a beacon of hope, granting over 15,000 wishes nationwide every year. Yet, there is still much more to be done, as only 50% of eligible kids currently receive this life-changing experience.
So, here's the deal: I need your support to make a difference. Contribute to my Trailblaze Challenge fundraising goal and be a part of transforming lives, one wish at a time! No donation is too small, and every bit brings us closer to uplifting not only the children but also their families, friends, and the communities around them. Your generosity will have a ripple effect.
Will you help me support Make-A-Wish by donating today? Donate $5, $10, or more. Please share my page with your friends and family.
