This spring, I am taking on the Make-A-Wish® Alabama Trailblaze Challenge, a 26.3 mile, day-long hike in Talladega National Forest. Over the course of the 12-week training I will be raising money for children with critical illnesses here in Alabama. I am taking on the challenge because I believe in the power of wishes and the life-changing impact they can have on a child going through their darkest days. These stories show how important hope is when facing a seemingly insurmountable diagnosis.
This hike gives me the chance to do something beyond myself, and most importantly, raise much-needed funds for wish kids in Alabama. Over 275 children are currently waiting on a wish in our state.
These essential wishes are only possible because of supporters like you. Together, we are transforming lives - one wish at a time!
