I am SO excited to take on this year’s Trailblaze Challenge!
This is a 26.3 mile, day-long hike through the Talladega National Forest to raise money for Make-A-Wish. There are so many factors that inspired this decision—before I started my weight loss journey, I couldn’t make it more than a mile or so on a hike without being out of breath and having to turn back. Now, 26.3 miles feels feasible?!.
Almost more exciting-- my husband and six other people from my gym are doing the challenge with me! So being able to do something with my body, my husband, my gym that I couldn’t have done before in a way that raises money for kids? Incredible.
Every hour of every day, on average, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the true happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
These essential wishes are only possible because of supporters like you. Together, we are transforming lives- One wish at a time!
