Michael and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at the end of this upcoming May!
We have been through ups and downs, crossed many valleys and enjoyed many beautiful views of the life God has given us! We are so blessed to be going through all that life has offered together!! To celebrate our quarter of a century with each other, we are excited to announce that we have accepted the Trailblaze Challenge.
The Trailblaze Challenge is a 26.3 mile hike on a section of the Pinhoti Trail that is put on by Alabama Make-A-Wish Foundation. We became aware of this last year as we followed the journey of our friend, Vanda Davenport and the team she hiked with, Happy Feet! Watching her train and fundraise each week was so encouraging! We discussed it , prayed about it even more and the decision was made! We will literally climb mountains, walk narrow trails, hike over a rock garden, and try to complete the 26.3 mile hike within the 14 hours we are given….

In addition to the physical challenge, we BOTH have committed ourselves to raising the critical funds necessary for Make-A-Wish to grant the one true wish for each eligible child with a critical illness. With your help, it’s possible.
Did you know that Make-A-Wish grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year? That’s a lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of the eligible kids. Every hour of every day, on average, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal.
We are fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the true happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
These essential wishes are only possible because of supporters like you. TOGETHER, we can transform lives- One wish at a time!
