I am so excited to take on this year’s Trailblaze Challenge! In addition to the physical challenge (26+ miles!!! Whew!), I have committed myself to raising funds for Make-A-Wish to grant the one true wish for each eligible child with a critical illness.
Every hour of every day, on average, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Each of these kids needs a wish to give them strength and help them heal. Every year we only get to fulfill about half of those wishes. My team’s goal is to raise as much of the (average) $10k cost of one wish as possible!
