It’s that time of year again! Trailblaze Challenge 2024 is here. I’m honored to raise money and awareness for Make A Wish Alabama. Every dollar goes to help grant wishes to critically ill children in our state. This will be my 6th year to accept this challenge and my 4th year being a Wish Hero committing to raise extra funds. Is this challenge hard? Sure it’s hard. It’s physically and mentally hard. But it's a choice for me and I am choosing it. Wish families don't get to choose their hard.
Wish kids are some of the bravest and sweetest kids you'll ever know. They wish to work in a pickle factory, become a superhero, go snorkeling, give their baseball team new uniforms, and push all of the buttons in a tall building's elevator. Their innocence and unexpected wisdom stays with you.
Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year. A lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of eligible kids. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
