Dear Friends, Family and Make-A-Wish Supporters,
Thank you for the great response I had to the 2020 donation requests for the Make-A-Wish Truck Convoy, especially with what the world has gone through in the last year. Because of great people like you, my total donation in 2020 was $3,380.00. Once again this wonderful response has placed me on the list of the top 30 fundraising drivers for the 2021 convoy. Unfortunate the convoy is in jeopardy again this year and may need to be held virtually. Without an in-person event that usually includes food, games, and auction items the only source of fundraising may be donations from you. Please join me in supporting Make-A-Wish as they celebrate the 32nd year of the truck convoy on May 9th, 2021.
My total goal this year is to raise $5,000, which is the estimated cost of sending a wish child to Disney World and having them picked up at their front door in a limousine. As many of you already know this is the wish that was granted to my daughter Kaylee many years ago. How great would it be to give that gift to another family that is living every day caring for a child with a critical illness? A week away from all the worries is some of the best medicine they can receive.
Donations will be accepted in numerous ways. You can donate on this site with a credit card or by clicking the “donate by mail” link on the left side of the page, you can print out a form that can be mailed directly to Make-A-Wish with a check. Lastly, I would be more than happy to receive the donation directly from you and turn it in on the day of the convoy. Please make all checks payable to “Make-A-Wish Philadelphia Delaware and Susquehanna Valley”.
Your tax-detectable gift will help me reach my goal. Please make a gift of $20, $50, $100, or more to help grant a wish. Thank you for your generosity and pledge to help grant the wishes of every eligible child fighting a critical illness!
