Why We're Fundraising for Make-A-Wish
Calling all Polar Bears! We are thrilled, yet again, to be hitting the beach (and the Atlantic Ocean) on February 11, 2024 - Super Bowl Sunday - for the 2024 Polar Bear Splash!
Since 2000, the Polar Bears have raised more than $9 million to grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. The Polar Bears are motivated by camaraderie, a touch of madness, and a common goal: to honor young Paulie Bradley's memory and keep his spirit alive in others.
Each year thousands of supporters come out on the beaches of Long Beach to celebrate the power of a wish and raise funds for Make-A-Wish Metro New York.
As members of the Wish Alumni community, we want to invite you to join in on the fun! This is a great way to meet other alumni families, kick off Super Bowl Sunday and make a Splash for more wishes!
We’re calling all Polar Bears to come out to Long Beach Boardwalk and maybe even brave the waters for a Splash (but "Official Towel Holders" and spectators are invited too!)
Please consider joining the Make-A-Wish Wish Alumni Team and invite friends, family members and classmates!
