Dive In Help Out

Learn To Dive returns to Polar Bear-Splash under the team name DiveInHelpOut for Make-A-Wish

Learn to Dive is so excited to be participating in the Long Beach Polar Bear Splash. We’re committed to growing our DiveInHelpOut MindSet, adding Team Members, and raising money for Make-A-Wish.

Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year of children with critical illnesses and with your help, more wishes will be fulfilled.

Learn To Dive is a youth diving club that has fundraised for various causes,

We coined the phrase Dive In Help Out. The Dive In Help Out Mindset. With our donations, more deserving kids and their families can know the joy, happiness, relief, and renewed spirit a wish can bring.

Now, more than ever wishes need you.

Please help “Dive In & Help Out” with this great cause by joining as a team member, meeting at the beach, or simply making a donation to our team’s Long Beach Polar Bear Splash fundraising goal.

"What is a Dive In Help Out Mindset?"
Let me explain using just one example from my own life.
Giving blood was just something that was taught in school, promoted everywhere, and something you did. When you receive "THE CALL" from the blood center you book an appointment and thank the caller for the work they're doing.
I remember giving blood for the first time in the Gymnasium of Levittown Memorial High School. My best friends and I drank a beer after to see how it affected us. (Just telling the story ) Then several years later my mother-in-law was diagnosed and died of cancer and started my own Dive In Help Out mindset by giving Platelets regularly. I set a goal one year to donate once a month for a year falling short of that goal... I did accomplish 11 of 12 donations that year.
With 56-lifetime blood donations under my belt, I recently realized how long it took me, and how little I contributed.
I heard it say that..."One horse pulls one log while two horses pull eleven logs"
