I am excited to be participating in my first Polar Plunge to raise money for my friend’s son, Logan, and other families who encounter similar experience. I am raising money for Make-A-Wish to help grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. With your help, it’s possible.

In February 2023, at just 10 months old, doctors found an 7.5cm tumor on Logan’s left kidney and diagnosed him with Wilms tumor, a rare and aggressive form of kidney cancer. After completing his chemotherapy, Logan will just be monitored every few months to identify any new growths and to manage any long-term effects. 

Make-A-Wish grants thousands of unique wishes each year and the Hughes family will be partaking in one in 2025. I’m fundraising so more deserving kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
