Just as I was finishing up my first bought of cancer I found out that my best friends son Logan was diagnosed at just 10 months old. I thought I understood what they were going through but when it’s your child it’s a completely different ball game. Logan crushed surgery and chemo and quite frankly he’s my hero. His parents are the strongest most resilient people I have ever met. Big brother Brody loves his brother and cares so deeply about taking care of him. This family is so inspiring and I’m so happy that they are getting a much deserved break this year because Logi is getting his wish!!! So this year we are taking to the beach to do the polar bear plunge on Long Beach to raise money for the make a wish foundation so other families like Logans can have a moment of joy and fun!
