Dear Friends and Family,

I am running the Vermont City Marathon May 28, 2017 in honor of my Sister Marlanna Ghovanloo; who passed away in an accident October 22, 2015. We always talked about how we were going to run races together; and of course what we would wear while running. I decided that my mission would not only be to run this race in her honor but to raise money for a cause I know my sister would love. I have never met a more giving person then my sister; she loved helping others, especially children. Please consider donating not only as a way to honor her but to help put a smile on a child. "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love"- Mother Teresa

Aydin's parents weren't sure she'd ever speak. Her medical condition came with a long list of possible ways it could impact her life.

Kids like Aydin are the reason I established a Make-A-Wish® fundraising page. I believe that a Make-A-Wish experience can change everything for a child with a life-threatening medical condition.

This is what happened because of Aydin’s wish: People in her community stood together to grant her wish to be a singer. Make-A-Wish arranged photo shoots, time at a recording studio, production of CDs and a debut performance at a local music venue. Aydin's experience gave her a glimpse of what life can hold besides medical treatments and worry. Her wish was a day free from her worries. And it will always help her find courage and optimism to help her overcome challenges in her future.

Please help by contributing any amount you can - $50, $75, $100 or even more. Every dollar you donate can help Make-A-Wish kids renew their courage and find a turning point in their lives.

Thank you for your support!
